    The Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPS) has an organizational mission dedicated to the improvement of the clinical processes for the early assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and heart failure (HF) within facilities serving our communities.
  • American College of Radiology Gold Seal of Accreditation for ultrasound services
  • ASHP Accredited Postgraduate Year One Pharmacy Residency Program by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP)
    ASHP believes that postgraduated residency programs are the best source of highly qualified pharmacy manpower and that it has an obligation to support residecies through the developement of standards and a program of accreditation. This accreditation was extended for the remainder of the current six-year cycle (2013)
  • CareChex® 2012 Quality Award by The Delta Group/CareChex

  • Sleep Center Accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep MedicineCentennial Medical Center's Sleep Disorder Center has been awarded recertification for a period of five years from The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) as a result of a recent on-site evaluation.

    We designate hospitals and facilities in the Aetna network as "Institutes of Quality" based upon an evaluation of the clinical performance and overall value of these facilities. In 2011, we will list Centennial Medical Center as a participating facility in the Aetna Institutes of Quality Bariatric Surgery Network in DocFind®, our online provider directory.

    This designation recognizes Centennial's commitment to the rapid assessment, intervention and treatment of patients exhibiting stroke symptoms and the administration of clot busting drugs to patients wo meet the criteria.
  • Joint Commission Accreditation
    Since its founding in 1951, The Joint Commissions has been acknowledged as the leader in developing the highest standards for quality and safety in the delivery of health care, and evalating organization performance based on these standards. Accreditation can be earned by an entire health care organization, for example, hospitals, nursng homes, office-based surgery practices, home care providers, and laboratories.
  • HealthGrades Patient Safety Excellence Award
    Patient Safety ratings reflect the quality of care at a hospital by measuring how well the hospital prevents potentially avoidable complications and adverse events following surgeries and procedures. To be considered for a Patient Safety Excellence Award, hospitals had to be rated in at least 16 of 26 HealthGrades cohorts and have a current overall HealthGrades star rating of at least 2.5.

  • Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program (COMP) Accredited & 2008 Outstanding Achievement Award by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS-COC)
    The Commission on Cancer CoC) Accreditation Program encourages hospitals, treatment centers, and other facilities to improve their quality of patient care through various cancer-related programs. These programs focus on prevention, early diagnosis, pretreatment evaluation, staging, optimal treatment, rehabilitation, surveillance for recurrent disease, support services, and end-of-life care.

    This award is presented by The Institute for Safety Medication Practices (ISMP) to recognize individuals, health care organizations, regulatory agencies, professional organizations, researchers, pharmaceutical and other health care related businesses that have set a superlative standard of excellence inthe prevention of medication errors during the award year.

    The goal of Aetna recognition is to address the appropriate timing of elective deliveries is consistent with the goals of ACOG, March of Dimes, Joint Commission and Leapfrog. This recognition acknowledges the achievement of reduction of elective deliveries prior to 39 weeks of pregnancy.
