Nashville, Tenn. (June 7, 2011) – Centennial Medical Center is committed to providing physicians with quality office space to serve the community. This year, The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) recognized Centennial’s Professional Plaza with the southern regional award for The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award in the medical office building category.
“Centennial Medical Center is committed to meeting the needs of our physicians and the increasing demand for services in the patient community by providing quality medical office space,” says Micki Slingerland, Chief Operating Officer for Centennial Medical Center. “We are pleased to accept this award in partnership with our property management team, and we are honored to be recognized as the top medical office space for physicians in the southern region.”
The TOBY Award honors the best of the best in commercial buildings. BOMA’s Southern Region comprises 9 states, with 3,000 members in 17 local BOMA chapters. The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of its kind in the commercial real estate industry. The award recognizes quality in office buildings and rewards excellence in office building management.
“There is a tremendous amount of work involved in completing a TOBY submittal, which is only possible when the management operations of the assets are first class,” explains Creighton Wright with Cassidy Turley. “We are very proud of the property team consisting of Connie Parham, Property Manager; Mary-Charles Hankla, Assistant Property Manager; and Dale Barnes, Engineering Manager.”
Cassidy Turley provides property management for the Professional Plaza building. The company is the largest property management firm in Middle Tennessee, overseeing the management of 23 million square feet.
The Professional Plaza will now move on to compete in the International TOBY Awards in Washington, D.C. June 26-28.
