New Physicians Join Centennial’s Hospitalist Program

Drs. Heather Bassett, Olumuyiwa Esuruoso, Karen Knowles and Robert Valet have joined the Hospitalist Program at Centennial Medical Center. 

Dr. Bassett received her medical degree from University of Texas. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.  She is a member of several national societies including the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.

Dr. Esuruoso received his medical degree from Ogun State University/Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences in Nigeria.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency and internship at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Esuruoso also completed a teaching and research fellowship at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He is a member of several societies including the American College of Physicians, Tennessee Medical Association and Nashville Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Knowles received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama. She is a member of several national societies including the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians.   

Dr. Valet received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency.  He is a member of several national societies including the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
