Centennial Medical Center Announces Leigh Mangum as Vice President of Human Resources

Centennial Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of Leigh Mangum to the hospital’s administrative team. Mangum joined the medical center as Vice President of Human Resources in June 2010.    

Prior to joining Centennial Medical Center, Mangum served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, an HCA facility. She also held the position of Director of Human Resources at Doctors Hospital. In her current role as Vice President of Human Resources at Centennial Medical Center, Mangum will provide leadership and coordination of the hospital’s human resource functions, in addition to development and implementation of corporate human resource strategies and programs.

Mangum received a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Studies with a minor in Business Administration at Middle Tennessee University, and later completed her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  She formerly served as a Board Member for Junior Achievement in Augusta, Georgia as well as a member of the Augusta area Hospital Personnel Association and Augusta/Aiken SHRM. Mangum is currently affiliated with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA), and Middle Tennessee Society of Human Resources Management (MTSHRM).

Mangum and her husband of 16 years have three children and reside in Christiana, Tenn.
