July 18, 2012
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 18, 2012) – TriStar Centennial Medical Center is proud to announce that Jonathan Schneider, M.D., a board-certified gastroenterologist, has joined its medical team. Schneider joined The Frist Clinic, part of TriStar Medical Group, in Nashville, Tenn.
He received his medical degree from University of Texas at Houston Medical School in Houston, Texas. Schneider completed his residency in internal medicine, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship and advanced endoscopy fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
In addition to treating patients for a variety of gastroenterological issues, Schneider also offers endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) at TriStar Centennial. EUS is an innovative test to get better images and information about the esophagus, the stomach, the pancreas, and surrounding organs. EUS has been shown to be more advanced than other diagnostic technologies for diagnosing and staging gastrointestinal cancers and for evaluating lesions in the digestive tract and mediastinum.
Schneider is now accepting new patients at The Frist Clinic, located at 2400 Patterson Street, Suite 515, Nashville, Tenn. 37203. For more information or to request an appointment, call TriStar MedLine® at 615-342-1919 or visit TriStarHealth.com.
