Nashville, Tenn., (June 13, 2012) – TriStar Centennial Women’s & Children’s hospital is pleased to announce Rob Atkinson, RN, BSN, CNOR, RNFA, as the administrative director of surgical services and Erika Ayers, RN, BSN, CNOR, as assistant director of surgical services.
Atkinson received his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of North Alabama in Florence, Ala. He most recently served as the manager of orthopaedic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. In his new role, Atkinson is responsible for strategic planning and operations of TriStar Centennial Women’s & Children’s hospital surgical services.
Ayers received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn. She most recently served as the surgical services manager for the Comprehensive Surgery Center at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. In her new role, Ayers is responsible for the daily operations and budget for TriStar Centennial Women’s & Children’s hospital operating room.
