Women’s Health & Imaging Center now in the Medical Park building on TriStar Centennial’s campus
Nashville, Tenn., (May 10, 2012) – The Breast Center at TriStar Centennial Medical Center is adopting a new name and moving to a new location this month.
The Breast Center is now the Women’s Health & Imaging Center and will be located in the new Medical Park building located at 330 23rd Avenue North, Suite 200 on TriStar Centennial’s campus. Complimentary patient parking and convenient access are available in the Murphy Avenue garage.
“Our center provides multiple breast imaging and diagnostic services, along with bone density testing and body mass index testing,” said Wayne Reid, vice president of Imaging at TriStar Centennial. “We believe this name is more reflective of the services TriStar Centennial currently offers at the center.”
Services include routine and diagnostic mammograms, tomosynthesis (3D mammography), breast ultrasound, breast biopsy procedures, bone density testing, and DEXA body fat analysis, which measures a person’s ratio of lean muscle mass to body fat.
Reid said patients can expect the new location to be more spacious and to provide a spa-like atmosphere where they will receive personal quality care from the professional staff.
The Women’s Health & Imaging Center will begin seeing patients in the new office located at 330 23rd Avenue North, Suite 200 on Wednesday, May 16.
The Murphy Avenue parking garage has a direct entrance into the Medical Park building on each level and the walkway over Murphy Avenue between the hospital Tower and TriStar Centennial Women’s & Children’s hospital will allow access from our central connector. Direct access is also available on 23rd Avenue. Signs will help direct patients and visitors to the new location.
