NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 13, 2014) – Four employees of TriStar Centennial Medical Center earned a Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Union University – Center for Excellence in Health Care Practice.
Machell Simms, director of neurosciences, Crockett Bone, medical imaging manager, Jill Becker, nurse manager for Sarah Cannon, and Freda Fuller, administrative director of perinatology at TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital, recently completed the 2013 TriStar Health Leadership Academy to earn the distinction.
“To be a leader in healthcare is to drive change at the highest level, one that impacts lives on a daily basis. It requires great commitment, initiative and the drive to go beyond the call of duty,” said Heather Rohan, president & CEO for TriStar Centennial Medical Center. “As graduates of the TriStar Leadership Academy, these individuals have displayed these qualities and more. The Leadership Academy is a 12-month program offered through the TriStar Healthcare Educational Institute at Union University, Hendersonville Campus in Hendersonville, Tenn. This program is part of a partnership between TriStar Health and Union University – Center for Excellence in Health Care Practice.
