TriStar Centennial Nurses Garner March Of Dimes Award For Excellence

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 6, 2014) – Sherree Spry and Nancy Donoho of TriStar Centennial Medical Center were recognized for nursing excellence at the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year awards held Dec. 10 in Franklin, Tenn. Each year, the Middle Tennessee chapter of March of Dimes recognizes 16 outstanding local nurses in a variety of nursing specialties for their exceptional leadership, compassion and excellence in patient care.

Sherree Spry, vice president of quality and risk management for TriStar Centennial, was the recipient in the “Quality & Risk Management” category and Nancy Donoho, labor and delivery nurse at TriStar Centennial Women’s and Children’s, was recognized for “Women’s Health”.
Ten of more than 160 nominees that emerged this year were from TriStar Centennial, all representing the March of Dimes vision for a healthier, stronger generation of babies and families.
