Participants in this seven-week class will learn how to successfully quit smoking. The class addresses the physical, mental, and social aspects of nicotine addiction and will help participants:

Build motivation by weighing the pros and cons of smoking

  • Discover personal and health-related reasons to quit
  • Study the complexity of the smoking habit
  • Form a plan for quitting based on observed patterns
  • Learn about approaches for dealing with urges to smoke
  • Explore long-term strategies to stay smoke-free
  • Find encouragement through the support of a group setting

WHEN: Tuesdays from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
