Cardiac rehabilitation services at TriStar Centennial are designed to meet the needs of patients recovering from a heart event like a heart attack, stenting, heart surgery or stable angina. Our services also benefit patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and lifestyle-related conditions, such as obesity, tobacco abuse or high stress levels.
Our specially trained cardiac rehabilitation staff provides patients with information and guidance needed to make crucial lifestyle changes. We work with patients and their physicians to develop healthy living habits, incorporating nutrition, exercise, risk reduction and, when necessary, stress testing. Rehabilitation programs are uniquely designed based on each patient's individual needs.

We offer outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services anda maintenance program for long-term healthy lifestyle choices. A physician order is required to schedule cardiac rehabilitation services. A patient’s physician may call rehabilitation services directly to schedule an appointment with our staff.
Inpatient cardiac rehabilitation begins while a patient is still in the hospital. The cardiac rehabilitation staff meets with patients to assess the patient's individual needs for a recovery program and begins working with patients to improve strength, mobility and endurance. We also develop an individualized recovery plan in coordination with the patient's physician before the patient leaves the hospital.
We offer appointments Monday through Saturday. Please contact us or have your physician contact us at (615) 342-1000 to set up your appointments.
Outpatient cardiac rehabilitation begins after a patient leaves the hospital. Each session combines exercise and education in a fun and supportive environment. Most patients have one-hour sessions, three times per week, for about 12 weeks.
